Privacy and analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure traffic: no cookies and no personal information collected, only aggregate data such as page views, referrers and device types. Google Analytics is not enabled yet; once configured, you can choose whether to enable it. Declining does not affect browsing, filtering, or outbound links.

When enabled, events cover pages, the finder, and tool clicks. Query strings, URL hashes, free search text, and user files are not sent as business event data. Google Analytics technologies and cookies must be disclosed according to the actual configuration.

Comparison stores up to three tool IDs in your browser. Saved tools also store only tool IDs locally; use Saved tools to export, merge an import, or confirm clearing them. Favorite files are not uploaded to this site and do not sync across devices automatically. If browser storage is unavailable, saving lasts only for this session and a notice is shown. Analytics preferences are stored locally and can be changed in the footer.

External providers handle subsequent activity under their own policies and terms.

Corrections and submissions use email. This site only opens a draft. When you send it, your address, message and any attachments you add are delivered by your email provider to the editor for source checks, handling suggestions and necessary replies. This site does not upload drafts automatically or read your mailbox. Public corrections will not disclose your address or private message without your consent.
